I love going places that have special meaning to you or I'm happy finding you a beautiful location! I have a location guide with over 200 locations in Utah that we can go over to find you the perfect setting. I love the outdoors and the mountains are my happy place! I'm always up for an adventure and shooting in locations that depicts your personalities and story.
I believe in preparing mentally; not just for your family but for you too! Let them know how excited you are and that these are important to you. Letting your family know how you feel about getting professional pictures taken together helps them understand where you are coming from. I also send prep messages before each session and your wedding. I give ideas what to do to prepare and help you two have fun, connect, and be happy with one another! This sets the tone before we even start!
Yes! You are very welcome to bring your furry friends! I recommend to take pictures with them at the beginning and to have a friend or family come help with your animal(s). Then after we have gotten all our must have shots or your pet is done getting their picture taken, you furry friends can be passed onto to our helper to either take a break or go back home. Locations may be limited due the type of furry friend you want to bring.
I send you a "Style and Session Prep" guide that has lots of tips and suggestions on what to wear and what to avoid before your session. Neutrals always look beautiful with my edits, along with rustic, dark or soft, light tones. I recommend to avoid reds, hot pink, and bright orange because of how the camera sensor reads your skin tones.
At the moment, I do not. Just like every type of photography, whether it be nature to wedding to newborns, I feel that boudoir is a specialized field of photography. Yes, I specialize in couple sessions but where I don't specialize in the style of boudoir, I wouldn't be the best photographer to give you those intimate pictures. But I do know amazing photographers that do specialize in just boudoir and would be the ideal photographer for you.
No, I do not watermark your images. I understand why some photographers do this; it's a way to protect their images from being stolen or to show credit of who took your photos on social media. I personally choose not because 1) I don't want to distract your friends/family from looking at you in the pictures and 2) I don't want you to worry that when your print your pictures that you will have a huge logo across the. I do ask as courtesy to tag me in your photos. Plus, I love seeing you share pictures that I have taken!
Turn around time is usually 2-3 weeks for sessions and 6-8 weeks for weddings. I will let you know if there are delays. I do try to get you sneak peeks because I know that you are just as excited as I am to see your pictures!
I don't limit the number of pictures you will receive from your session. I want to give you as many, beautiful pictures as possible! I hand pick your sessions best images and deliver these to you. I am all about the feels; while I select your pictures, I choose the images that I believe will make you feel all the love that you have between each other.

Niki is AMAZING! During our family session she was so great at making everyone feel relaxed, even my kids! She was great at capturing the special moments that felt very casual and real and turned out so beautiful! She listened to my ideas and thoughts and even helped bring to light what I couldn't put into words. Niki really knows what she is doing and had several poses and ideas ready so that the time just flew by!
LOVED how my mission pictures turned out and LOVED how great Niki was to work with! Even though my session was in the middle of a wind storm, she worked her magic and made the pictures look fabulous!
Niki does an amazing job!! She took my maternity pictures, 48 hours pictures of our newborn son and our family/newborn pictures! She knows what she is doing behind the camera. If you are looking for a wonderful photographer I would highly recommend her!!
